This course is a Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations (2391-52)
A course for the “skilled electrician” who carries out Inspection and Testing as part of his/her job but requires to prove competence. The course is run over three days.
This City and Guilds 2391-52 course is not designed to teach Inspection & Testing but builds on existing knowledge and requires a good knowledge of the wiring regulations, as well as a good use of the English language for the examinations.
You will require BS 7671: 2018 (Brown cover) and Guidance Notes No 3(yellow/brown cover) and if required the On-site guide. The candidate must be successful in all four examinable components before the certificate is awarded. Visual photo exercise to determine the severity of the deviations depicted, a practical assessment and a short written 4 question exam paper, and a on-line multiple choice 60 question exam which is open book.
Unfortunately due to major surgery I will not be available to deliver courses until the end of February 2025
Cost of the course includes the examination and assessment fees but not publications.
Note: We also offer the 2391-50 and 2391-51 other than the full course as described above. These two courses offer either Initial verification or Periodic Inspection and testing.
