This is a relatively new course; City and Guilds 2929, this course details the content of the IET Code of Practice for Electric vehicle charging installations (5th Edition). The design element of the installation, covering cable sizing and that of the protective device.
There are two examinable components, a design project and a on-line exam, both have to be successful for the certificate to be issued.
However there is a minimum academic standard required for the course entry, notably a JIB Gold card.
